Account Executive ($150-180 OTE)

Dill is revolutionizing payment, AR and trade credit for the construction materials industry. Material suppliers, distributors, and wholesalers are some of the most important stakeholders in the industry but are often the last to get paid. You’ll be joining a YC backed, fast-growing company with a second-time founder (previous exit in construction technology).

We’re looking to hire a Commercial Account Executive to help bring Dill to construction distributors across the US. You’ll own the full sales cycle - prospecting, discovery, product demo, negotiation & closing. The ideal candidate thrives in a startup environment and is excited to help transform the construction materials industry

What you’ll do:

  • You’ll drive growth by owning the whole sales cycle. You’ll work with our SDR’s to optimize outreach, prospect, qualify leads, conduct product demonstrations, close deals & exceed sales targets
  • Take a consultative approach and leverage curiosity to understand our prospects business goals/challenges & demonstrate how Dill solves their pain points
  • CRM & pipeline management: Manage and maintain accurate leads, opportunities and account information within Hubspot
  • Work cross functionally with SDR’s, product & leadership to help optimize our product & process
  • Hit Sales Goals: Exceed monthly & yearly revenue targets

Who you are:

  • You’re hungry and driven to succeed. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial at heart and wants to learn how to/help build this business
  • Proven success in an inside sales role ideally selling into a vertical market (bonus if it’s a blue collar industry)
  • Being scrappy and resourceful are part of your DNA. You find a way to make it happen.
  • You’re passionate about bringing innovation and efficiency into one of the most old-school industries that forms the backbone of our world today.
  • You have the ability & resilience to deal with constant change

9. HOW DO YOU PREPARE FOR A MEETING AND PREPARE A MEETING? WHAT DO YOU SEE HAPPENING DURING THE MEETING?

Just as communication is essential when working remotely, so is organization. Because you won't have those opportunities in the elevator or a casual conversation in the lunchroom, you should take advantage of the little time you have in a video or phone conference...

10. HOW DO YOU USE TECHNOLOGY ON A DAILY BASIS, IN YOUR WORK AND FOR YOUR PLEASURE?
