TTM stands for time-to-market, representing how TTM's time-critical, one-stop design, engineering and manufacturing services enable customers to reduce the time required to develop new products and bring them to market.<br><br>Additional information can be found at responsibilities</strong></em>:<br><br>The Production Expediter is responsible for ensuring that production schedules, deadlines, and quotas are met by overseeing, coordinating, and physically supporting the production flow and job movement amongst departments. They collaborate with managers and line operators on timeline status and answer inquiries. The role involves drafting, revising, and distributing production schedules, communicating with departments to ensure efficient workflows and implementing necessary modifications to be on schedule for OTD (on time delivery). They also collect and analyze data regarding efficiency and timeliness of production, maintain or assist with maintenance of inventories, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.<br><br><em><strong>Essential Skills and Responsibilities</strong></em>:<br><br><ul><li>Material Coordination: Primary duty is to ensure that all necessary work orders are queued and available for production runs. This involves monitoring inventory levels, tracking work order job movement, and running quantities to prevent shortages</li><li>Understanding of Production Processes: Solid understanding of manufacturing processes. Ensuring that manufacturing processes run smoothly by managing the flow directly contributes to the efficiency and success of production operations. </li><li>Problem-Solving: When issues arise, such as delays in shipment or discrepancies in orders, Production Expeditors are responsible for identifying the root cause and implementing solutions to mitigate the impact on operations. </li><li>Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of orders, shipments, and communications with teammates. Documentation is essential for tracking performance and making informed decisions in the future. </li><li>Collaboration: Work closely with production and logistics teams to ensure that everyone is aligned and informed about the production status and any changes in schedules or due dates. </li><li>Organizational Skills: Must be detail-oriented and highly organized to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively</li><li>Performs other company-related tasks at the direction of the Production Manager</li><li>Follow and complete necessary revisions of all written procedures<br><br></li></ul><em><strong>Knowledge</strong></em><strong>:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Must have excellent communication skills ability to read and write in English</li><li>Must be able to stand throughout the shift, and lift to 20 lbs. without straining</li><li>Must have basic computer skill proficiency with adaptability to new technology</li><li>Must be able to multi-task and place priorities in an orderly manner</li><li>Must have good judgment and decision-making abilities</li><li>Understand technology associated with manufacturing high technology circuit boards<br><br></li></ul><em><strong>Education and Experience</strong></em>:<br><br><ul><li>Minimum of 1 year experience</li><li>High School diploma or equivalent preferred</li><li>Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred</li><li>Three years of supervisory or related experience in printed circuit board industry<br><br></li></ul>#COMBU<br><br><em><strong>Compensation and Benefits:<br><br></strong></em>TTM offers a variety of health and well-being benefit programs. For some positions, only PTO and holiday benefits are offered.<br><br>Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:<br><br>$49,413 - $78,105<br><br>Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment.
