Preferred qualifications include an Associate’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, along with a minimum of one year of administrative, customer service, healthcare support, or office experience. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidential information are essential. Previous experience in human resources, recruiting, onboarding, employee services, or healthcare administration is highly valued, as is experience working with HRIS or other HR-related software. A solid understanding of employment practices, benefits administration, and onboarding processes is preferred. Candidates should have experience supporting customer service-focused environments and interacting with diverse employee populations, and a desire to learn, grow, and advance within the human resources profession and/or healthcare industry. **What You'll Do:** - Administer HR service delivery through multiple channels, including phone, email, and case management systems. Resolve inquiries related to employee relations, benefits, payroll, onboarding, HR policies, and other HR programs; manage escalated cases; and ensure compliance with service level expectations, documentation standards, and organizational policies. Serve as an ambassador for the Human Resources department by delivering exceptional customer service and promoting UC Health's PRIIDE Core Values, policies, procedures, and commitment to employee experience. Identify, research, and resolve employee concerns and complex HR inquiries through effective communication, critical thinking, and collaboration with internal stakeholders, leaders, and external partners. Maintain accurate and complete case documentation, employee records, and tracking systems while ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with applicable policies and regulations. Monitor service requests and case queues to ensure timely resolution, appropriate escalation, and adherence to established service standards and performance metrics. Participate in departmental meetings, huddles, training sessions, and committees as assigned, contributing to process improvement initiatives and organizational goals. Serve as a primary resource for employees and managers by addressing inquiries and providing support related to HR policies, benefits, payroll, onboarding, employee programs, and organizational procedures, ensuring timely and accurate resolution. In the area of **Total Rewards**, you will provide benefits information and education to candidates and employees during onboarding, Work Life Events, and Open Enrollment periods. You'll assist with communication and information exchange between employees, insurance providers, and third-party administrators regarding eligibility, scheduling, and benefit-related matters. Respond to routine employee and manager inquiries regarding benefit programs and processes, and maintain a general understanding of UC Health compensation and pay practices to support employee questions and direct complex issues appropriately. For **Recognition, Events, & Special Services**, you will compile data, generate reports, and provide administrative support for HR projects and initiatives.
