We are currently expanding our team and are seeking a Full Remote Mid-level Full Stack .NET Web Developer to support the development and maintenance of a suite of government web-based business applications developed in two different technology stacks. The current development technologies used are Vue JS, SASS, HTML5, Web API development in C# using .NET Core 8, and database development in Microsoft SQL Server using stored procedures. There are also existing web applications being maintained, and/or migrated that utilize .Net Framework, ADO.NET, Web. Forms, JavaScript jQuery, and Microsoft SQL Server stored procedures. Professional skills include excellent communication skills, strong analytical skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team in an agile development cycle. Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented with ability to multi-task. This position may allow for remote work; however, employees must be able and willing to travel and provide in-office or on-site support as required by customer requirements, project demands, or business needs.

Duties:

  • Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility
    programs.
  • Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer
    science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
  • Update software or enhance existing software capabilities.
  • May work with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems, develop specifications, and performance requirements.
  • May and maintain databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.

Required Experience:
  • At least three (3) years of software development experience, to include: Software Design, Development, Test, Deployment, Integration, Sustainment and Maintenance of which at least one (1) year of programming experience with C# and JavaScript Framework (React or Vue) programming languages; and
  • One (1) year of experience, to include: Database development and using Microsoft Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code; and
  • One (1) year of experience with GIT. (Note: All experience may be concurrent).

Required Education:
  • BS or BA degree in engineering, mathematics, computer science, business, or information systems or related field.

ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION:
  • A) An AS or AA degree in engineering, mathematics, computer science, business, or information systems and three (3) years of overall experience plus the amount of detailed experience that matches the experience/training requirement for this position may be substituted for a BS or BA degree; or B) Eight (8) years of overall experiences plus the amount of detailed experience that matches the experience/training requirement for this position may be substituted for a BS or BA degree.

Desired Education/Experience:
  • Highly desired experience includes development and support of an enterprise level web application with separated, service-oriented data retrieval architecture.
  • Database development in Microsoft SQL Server with SQL Enterprise Manager.
  • PaaS/IaaS is also a plus.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Compensation at Precise Systems is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $120,000 (annualized USD). This range represents the standard pay for this role and is just one component of Precise Systems' total compensation package.
