Job Title: Shipping Clerk / Warehouse Associate (RESUME PLEASE)

Location: Ontario, CA 91761
Pay Rate: $22.00/hr.
Shift: 1st Shift M-F 8-5


Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipping Clerk / Warehouse Associate to support daily shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehouse operations. This role requires hands-on warehouse experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and safety standards.


Core Experience & Knowledge

  • Hands-on experience with shipping operations, including picking verification, packing, labeling, staging, and carrier handoff

  • Working knowledge of receiving processes: unloading, inspection, documentation verification, and put-away

  • Experience processing returns (RMA/RTV), including inspection, disposition, and documentation

  • Understanding of cycle counting and inventory accuracy (location counts, ABC counts, reconciliation)

  • Familiarity with inventory control fundamentals and discrepancy resolution

  • Awareness of warehouse maintenance standards, safety practices, and 5S principles


Technical Skills

  • Proficiency using WMS/ERP or similar inventory and shipping systems

  • Comfortable with RF scanners, handheld devices, label printers, and basic computer tools (email, spreadsheets, scanning)

  • Ability to read and verify shipping documents such as packing lists, BOLs, POs, and carrier labels


Quality & Accuracy

  • Strong attention to detail to ensure correct shipments and accurate receiving

  • Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies between physical product, system data, and documentation

  • Consistently accurate in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Self-motivated and dependable


Problem Solving & Accountability

  • Investigates root causes of mis-picks, shortages, overages, inventory variances, and return issues

  • Takes initiative to escalate issues, document findings, and recommend process improvements

  • Works independently while meeting productivity and quality expectations


Communication & Collaboration

  • Communicates clearly and professionally with supervisors, teammates, purchasing, customer service, and carriers

  • Accurately documents exceptions such as damage, shortages, incorrect items, or missing information

  • Collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams to maintain inventory accuracy and order flow


Physical & Scheduling Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching

  • Willingness to learn or operate material handling equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts)

  • Flexibility to work overtime or varied shifts as needed
