The position will require frequent travel in Phoenix, AZ Area area and therefore the selected candidate must live in this region.</b><br/><br/><b>What You Will Do: </b><br/><ul><li>Identify Bottleneck/Capacity Constraints that will be used to develop improvement and mitigation plans for improved on time delivery from suppliers</li><li>Acquire a vision of the big picture and understand that enhancing operational effectiveness is key to organizational business performance</li><li>Drive for results, consistently pursuing continued ways to accomplish goals and objectives that requires your extraordinary determination, self-motivation, and interpersonal skills to satisfy our Customer's needs.</li><li>Develop a strong understanding of the products and the operational processes they go through at the suppliers you will be working with.</li><li>Ability to generate and gain opportunities to break functional, operational, & logistical barriers faced with getting products out the door.</li><li>Reveal and work to remove barriers to business goals specific to the on-time delivery of parts.</li><li>Effectively driving tasks/projects to completion which includes Leading Indicator (LI) data collection : RM availability and on order, WIP tracking , Quality notification closures, and Sub- Tier supplier tracking.</li><li>Working with multiple projects and interact with several departments and various levels of management simultaneously</li><li>Manage / assist with process improvement projects, prioritizes project work, and support the needs of CORE operating system</li><li>Utilizes project management approach and process improvement discipline to lead projects according to plan, including identifying and mitigating project risks</li><li>Gather feedback and work to identify new improvement projects in conjunction with Supplier Development Leaders</li><li>Will be an active participant in Commodity Days, EMMs and SEMO (Supplier Exec Management Overviews), and Co-lead with our customers and Supplier Development Leaders on the respective Supplier</li><li><b>Must be able to travel up to 80% of your time within the Phoenix, AZ Area</b></li><li><b>On-site at suppliers 80% of your time</b></li><li><b>20% of the time working from home office</b></li></ul><br/><br/><b>Qualifications You Must Have:</b><br/><ul><li>A College Degree or equivalent experience and 5 years of prior delivery assurance, supply chain, or related experience; or an advanced degree with 2 years of experience.</li><li><b>Reside in the Phoenix, AZ Area</b></li><li>U.S. Citizen - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.</li></ul><br/><br/><b>Qualifications We Prefer:</b><br/><ul><li>Experience in Operations, Supply Chain Management, or related field</li><li>Learns quickly, grasps the 'essence of what is happening', and can change the course quickly</li><li>Builds strong relationships with peers and partners outside of team to enable higher performance</li><li>Openly considers the ideas of others, analyzes, and develops innovation to reality</li><li>Flexible, enthusiastic self-starter</li><li>Proficient in SAP and Qlik/ Power BI</li><li>Experience working with cross functional teams</li></ul><br/><br/>Please ensure the role type defined below is appropriate for your needs before applying to this role. <b>This position is classified as:</b><br/><br/><b>Remote:</b> Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.<br/><br/>Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.<br/><br/>This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.<br/><br/>RTX anticipates the application window closing approximately 40 days from the date the notice was posted.
