Amazon Virtual Assistant Jobs – Women Friendly – No Degree Required

Job Summary

Progressive Technology is expanding its e‑commerce operations and is looking for detail‑oriented, proactive Amazon Virtual Assistants (VAs) to support our Amazon Seller / Vendor Central accounts. This is a women‑friendly, fully remote opportunity ideal for freshers, career returnees, and professionals without a formal degree who are eager to learn, upskill, and grow in the fast‑moving world of online marketplaces. You will manage day‑to‑day Amazon store tasks—listing optimization, catalog hygiene, basic PPC support, customer service, reporting, and more—while working closely with account managers and brand owners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Listing & Optimization: Create, update, and optimize product titles, bullet points, descriptions, back-end keywords, and A+ Content.

  • Catalog & Inventory Management: Monitor inventory health, reconciliations, stranded/blocked listings, FBA/FBM coordination, and restock alerts.

  • Customer Service: Respond to buyer messages, handle returns/refunds, and resolve performance notifications within SLA.

  • Keyword Research & SEO: Use tools (e.g., Helium 10, Jungle Scout, Amazon Brand Analytics) to identify ranking opportunities.

  • Advertising Assistance: Support the setup and maintenance of Sponsored Products/Brands/Display campaigns (training provided).

  • Storefront & Brand Registry Support: Assist with Brand Registry tasks, Brand Store updates, and maintaining brand assets.

  • Compliance & Policy Adherence: Track and escalate policy warnings, ensure content meets Amazons guidelines, and raise cases with Seller Support as needed.

  • Reporting & Analytics: Prepare weekly KPIs (sessions, conversion rate, TACoS/ACoS snapshots, Buy Box %, inventory age, etc.) and share insights with stakeholders.

  • Case Management: Open, track, and close cases with Amazon Support for listing issues, reimbursements, FBA discrepancies, and catalog merges/splits.

  • Process Documentation: Maintain SOPs, checklists, and FAQs to enable smooth handovers and scale.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • No degree required—we value skills, attitude, and willingness to learn.

  • Strong written English communication; ability to create crisp, error‑free listing copy.

  • Attention to detail with solid organisational and time‑management skills.

  • Comfortable working in spreadsheets (Google Sheets / Excel) for data cleaning, pivots, and reporting (we will train if you are a beginner).

  • Ability to multi‑task across multiple SKUs, brands, and geographies.

  • Basic familiarity with Amazon Seller Central / Vendor Central is a plus (not mandatory).

  • Tech‑savvy with the ability to quickly learn new SaaS tools and dashboards.

  • Problem-solving mindset with a customer-first attitude.

Experience

  • 0–2 years of experience in e‑commerce, digital marketing, customer support, or data entry welcome.

  • Prior Amazon VA / marketplace experience is a plus but not mandatory—structured training will be provided.

  • Career returnees, fresh graduates, and women seeking flexible work hours are strongly encouraged to apply.

Working Hours

  • Remote / Work From Home with flexible scheduling.

  • Standard expectation: 30–40 hours per week (full-time) or 20 hours per week (part-time track available).

  • Ability to overlap at least 3–4 hours with India Standard Time (IST) business hours for team syncs; occasional weekend/holiday support during key sales events (e.g., Prime Day, BFCM) may be required with compensatory time off.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA)

  • Marketplace Knowledge: Basic understanding of Amazons ecosystem (listings, FBA/FBM, Buy Box, PPC).

  • Analytical Thinking: Comfortable interpreting dashboards and performance metrics to suggest improvements.

  • Process Ownership: Ability to follow SOPs and improve them over time.

  • Collaboration: Work effectively with cross-functional teams (design, ad ops, supply chain).

  • Confidentiality & Integrity: Handle sensitive data responsibly and ethically.

  • Growth Mindset: Willingness to learn, take feedback, and experiment.

Benefits

  • Women-friendly policies with flexibility for caregivers and career returnees.

  • No degree required + paid training & certification pathway in Amazon operations.

  • Opportunity to learn industry-leading tools (Helium 10, Jungle Scout, DataDive, Brand Analytics, etc.).

  • Remote-first culture, work from anywhere.

  • Performance-based incentives & rapid progression to Sr. VA, PPC Specialist, or Account Manager tracks.

  • Well-being benefits: mental health day, flexible breaks, and supportive team culture.

  • Paid time off, festival leave, and compensatory offs for peak-season support.

Why Join Progressive Technology?

  • Inclusive, supportive environment purpose-built to help women re-enter and grow in the workforce.

  • Clear career ladder with structured milestones, mentorship, and skill-building sprints.

  • Work with global Amazon brands and see the real impact of your work on growth metrics.

  • Process-led, automation-friendly operations that reduce grunt work and elevate your value.

  • A culture that rewards ownership, creativity, and continuous improvement.

    Common Interview Questions And Answers

    1. HOW DO YOU PLAN YOUR DAY?

This is what this question poses: When do you focus and start working seriously? What are the hours you work optimally? Are you a night owl? A morning bird? Remote teams can be made up of people working on different shifts and around the world, so you won't necessarily be stuck in the 9-5 schedule if it's not for you...

    2. HOW DO YOU USE THE DIFFERENT COMMUNICATION TOOLS IN DIFFERENT SITUATIONS?

When you're working on a remote team, there's no way to chat in the hallway between meetings or catch up on the latest project during an office carpool. Therefore, virtual communication will be absolutely essential to get your work done...

    3. WHAT IS "WORKING REMOTE" REALLY FOR YOU?

Many people want to work remotely because of the flexibility it allows. You can work anywhere and at any time of the day...

    4. WHAT DO YOU NEED IN YOUR PHYSICAL WORKSPACE TO SUCCEED IN YOUR WORK?

With this question, companies are looking to see what equipment they may need to provide you with and to verify how aware you are of what remote working could mean for you physically and logistically...

    5. HOW DO YOU PROCESS INFORMATION?

Several years ago, I was working in a team to plan a big event. My supervisor made us all work as a team before the big day. One of our activities has been to find out how each of us processes information...

    6. HOW DO YOU MANAGE THE CALENDAR AND THE PROGRAM? WHICH APPLICATIONS / SYSTEM DO YOU USE?

Or you may receive even more specific questions, such as: What's on your calendar? Do you plan blocks of time to do certain types of work? Do you have an open calendar that everyone can see?...

    7. HOW DO YOU ORGANIZE FILES, LINKS, AND TABS ON YOUR COMPUTER?

Just like your schedule, how you track files and other information is very important. After all, everything is digital!...

    8. HOW TO PRIORITIZE WORK?

The day I watched Marie Forleo's film separating the important from the urgent, my life changed. Not all remote jobs start fast, but most of them are...

    9. HOW DO YOU PREPARE FOR A MEETING AND PREPARE A MEETING? WHAT DO YOU SEE HAPPENING DURING THE MEETING?

Just as communication is essential when working remotely, so is organization. Because you won't have those opportunities in the elevator or a casual conversation in the lunchroom, you should take advantage of the little time you have in a video or phone conference...

    10. HOW DO YOU USE TECHNOLOGY ON A DAILY BASIS, IN YOUR WORK AND FOR YOUR PLEASURE?

This is a great question because it shows your comfort level with technology, which is very important for a remote worker because you will be working with technology over time...
